The material is presented in such a fashion that the participants will be able to use the information to develop their own vehicle maintenance program and scheduling in-house with confidence. This workshop includes: Scheduling preventive maintenance Developing a priority system for non-scheduled maintenance Projecting annual maintenance needs Projecting long term maintenance needs Budgeting for capital equipment rehabilitation and replacement Knowing what maintenance task to perform at each maintenance interval Preventive maintenance guidelines Troubleshooting Understanding the problem as related by the vehicle operator Communicating with maintenance contractors Following up on completed repairs Understanding warranties and exercising rights under the warranty Evaluating the quality of work and establishing a system of identifying good and bad vendors The workshop includes open discussion to enable participants to share ideas and to develop networking strategies.
